Adesua Etomi and Banky W gave us the most epic love story of 2017. We did not see them coming and their story still gives us goosebumps all over. It’s such a pure and wholesome story because it wasn’t a regular celebrity point and kill story. By point and kill we mean guy sees girl and shines his teeth and before he can say “Jack Robinson” she’s sitting on his lap.
Adesua Etomi and Banky W met each other, started out and friends and grew in respect and love for each other before they eventually moved into a love affair and then marriage. It was a process and it shows growth.

1. Patience is a virtue
The problem of a lot of couples today is that they want to rush things. One minute they have butterflies, the next minute they’re saying “I’ll love you forever.” Love doesn’t work that way. True love takes time and this doesn’t mean you should stall too much but it means that if you love someone, you’ll be willing to give them time. Patience shows respect for the one you love.

Stop trying to publicize your relationship so desperately. Stop trying to be everybody’s relationship goals. Make sure you have something solid and that the people who matter most to you know it. That’s all. There’s nothing wrong with publicity, but make sure you’re not doing it to get public approval.
3. Know your worth
By any standard, Banky W was a bigger star than Adesua when he met her. Plus he was one of Nigeria’s most eligible bachelors and had many girls throwing themselves at his feet. Yet when he showed interest in Adesua, she took her time to make sure he was a good man. She didn’t fly and say “Lucky me.” This is obviously because she established her worth long before he came along. If it was you would you have kept Banky W waiting?
