X3M Artiste, Simi took to her twitter page this morning to join controversial OAP, Daddy Freeze to blast pastors, saying she’s not comfortable with the way most Nigerians revere their pastors as if they are God. She’s very irritated by this.

She tried to make her fans understand that those who call their pastors “Daddy” can communicate to God without the help of the man they call “Daddy.” Some supported her motion while some linked her talk to Freeze. Simi wrote:

“Guys, your pastor is not God. God has given you the power to communicate with Him directly. He’s your father. Don’t let any pastor bully you into submitting out of fear to a God of love. Your pastor might be anointed, but so are you! I’ve seen a lot of people make obviously stupid life-changing decisions because “pastor said”; people very close to me.”

A certain fan challenged her saying: “This can only come from someone who hasn’t experienced spiritual attack beyond his/her control. If the Israelites had the privilege to communicate directly with God, Moses wouldn’t be in the picture.” Standing her ground, Simi again said: “We can’t leave our lives in the hands of ministers when God has empowered us.”
