A fisherman has made a remarkable catch after reeling in a massive cod with another fully grown cod in its mouth.
Derek Blow, an experienced fisherman, was competing in the Mulwala fishing challenge at Lake Mulwalla, three hours north of Melbourne, over the weekend when he landed the amazing discovery.
The angler, who travelled from his home in Bendigo for the competition, uploaded photos of the 93cm cod with the second 48cm cod hanging from its mouth to Mick’s Fishing and Outdoors Facebook page.

The post has been shared over 600 times and attracted well over 1000 comments since being posted on Saturday.
Some commenters were skeptical, suggesting that the photo was staged, however most were simply astounded at the chances of reeling in the double catch.
‘So does this get a combined length?’ asked one commenter.
‘This guy’s catching two at once!’ exclaimed another.
According to reports, both fish swam away unharmed.
